What We Provide

The Reception provides a casual setting where private sector companies, academia, the ITSVA Board members and VDOT officials can engage and discuss the information presented at the Information Exchange Forum, or simply connect with friends and colleagues.

Typically hosted within walking distance from the Information Exchange Forum, the Legislative Reception follows the Information Exchange and is a ticketed event.

The reception is lightly catered with hors d’oeuvres, and the room is staged with high top tables to encourage and promote conversations while attendees enjoy a beverage and party appetizers with acquaintances old and new. The reception room also presents select transportation vendors with booths setup enabling attendees to interact directly with them to learn more about their products and services.

As the delegates and senators are invited to attend the reception, it provides interactions from lawmakers with our industry to promote support in transportation technology and funding.
